We believe that every member of the community — not just our patients — benefit from learning the facts about colon cancer and GI health. This know-how helps individuals be actively involved in their own care and help spread awareness to their family members, friends and colleagues. As part of our mission to educate the community, our doctors frequently participate in local health fairs and give talks to area businesses, church groups and senior events. We also encourage our patients to pass along colorectal cancer “Buddy Bracelets,” to spread the word on important life-saving prevention measures. For more information, visit www.preventcancer.org.
